Icelandic Volcano
This new pendant is inspired by “Fagradalsfjall” which means “The Mountain of the Beautiful Valley". Although this volcano has not erupted in a while, Iceland has experienced volcanic eruptions in the last few weeks.
This piece is made from glass enamel, fine silver and 24k gold made into images of an erupting volcano and a dormant one under an Aurora Borealis. The setting consists of textured oxidized sterling silver, 22k gold, 18k gold garnished with tiny diamonds and volcanic lava. This kinetic pendant hangs from an oxidized sterling silver chain accented with 18k gold and pebbles from Víkurfjara Black Sand Beach.
