Wisdom is inspired by a living and tagged Laysan Albatross. Having an albatross around your neck has often been associated with burden, however the albatross is also thought to carry the souls of dead sailors to the after life and is a good omen for mariners. My thought for this piece is, no matter how dark the horizon, if you keep flying you will eventually see the dawn. The pendant is made from glass enamel, fine silver 24k gold, 22k gold and hand carved sterling silver.
