Dia de Los Muertos also known as the Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives. This Fall holiday is a very special time for me and my family. The change of seasons is a time of reflection and transition. It is a time of passing and a celebration of life after death.
This Dia de Los Muertos set has been a project I have been working on for a long time and am very excited to share it with you. This collection is made from traditional cloisonné enamel and 24k gold. They are set in oxidized sterling silver and 22k gold settings. The enamels are paired with stunningly rich and ethically sourced Mexican fire opals. These earrings hang from 14k gold French clips.
